In the second game of the season, the DFI boys went to SV Pang. For the still very young and inexperienced team, this was the next opportunity to build on the successful start to the season. Thus, the Kurstädter were able to create numerous scoring opportunities, especially in the first half. Through an orderly game structure, which was characterized mainly by good pass stations, it was always possible to come dangerously close to the goal of the hosts. Unfortunately, the last precision for a goal was missing again and again. However, the basic processes were very attractive and the team was superior in terms of play. So they could reward themselves for the strong performance in the middle of the first half.
After the half-time break, the hosts got into the game better. The DFI boys became a bit more nervous and one or the other carelessness crept into the game. Thus, SV Pang was also able to reward themselves and tie the game again. The game was now open again and both teams were playing to win. Two unfortunate goals allowed the hosts to finally decide the game in their favor.
Overall, it was another very strong performance by the boys that can definitely be built on in the coming weeks. Playfulness and creativity are just two of the many positive aspects that remain from this game.
