After the U15 last week both mandatory games were canceled due to Corona cases at the opponents, our boys were allowed to intervene last Friday again in the mandatory game. With ASV Cham, the troop expected a very good opponent, which also turned out in the course of the game. Our guys from DFI came very well into the game and was able to tie the game from the beginning. The opponent from Cham was very compact at first and let us build up the game. This presented us with a great challenge to find good solutions here. This was also made more difficult by little speed in the game with the ball, so that the opponent could position himself well again and again. Nevertheless, they found solutions with a few good balls behind the defensive chain and created a very good scoring opportunity on the right. Unfortunately, that was the only offensive action of our guys worth mentioning. They had a lot of possession, but could not create any compelling scoring chances. The second half was then a bit more intense from the duels and emotions. As a result, the game of our guys also got a break, because you were increasingly guided by your emotions and lost focus on the soccer game. As a result, more technical mistakes crept in, such as inaccuracy in passing or the first contact for a good follow-up action. Throughout the game, the opponents repeatedly came into play well through standard situations, which our guys did not defend well. The game was very midfield-heavy in the second half and was repeatedly stopped by fouls. There was no action worth mentioning from the game until shortly before the end. It lasted until 5 minutes before the end, when DFI weakened itself with a yellow card for a tactical foul. Shortly after it was a long ball of the guests which brought it into a running duel between IV and attacker. Here, unfortunately, our IV drew the short straw and could stop the attacker only with a foul. This foul was then the key action in the game, which resulted in the penalty kick for the guests. The penalty was converted confidently and thus also brought the later 0:1 final score. After the opening goal, our guys became more active in the last 2-3 minutes. They invested everything again to score the equalizer. Even if you still had a good opportunity, which you just missed, you could not make the deficit away, unfortunately. The game our guys, does not correspond to the result. There are only small details that are still missing to leave the field as a winner. Nevertheless, the team will continue to invest everything possible to be successful again. In addition, the team has 4 chances in the next 2 weeks in the two English weeks to strengthen again with enough self-confidence.
